Job Description

Cashier provides amazing customer service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests by making recommendations when appropriate, processing customer payments and preparing beverage orders.

Ideal candidates are hard-working, detail-oriented, friendly team-players who are excited to get a start in the food service industry.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote, work and act in a manner with the mission of Augusta Kitchen, LLC

  • Receive and process all guest payments.

  • Answering the phone, taking call in orders as well as online orders and accurately entering them into POS system

  • Cleaning all work areas, utensils, and equipment

  • Describing menu items to guest or suggesting products that might appeal to them

  • Recognizing repeat customers, investors, order up drivers

  • Monitoring the cleanliness and organization of the entire Front of House including restroom and patio. This includes trash removal, wiping down tables, restocking utensils and napkin dispensers, sweeping etc.

  • Setting up displays and restocking products

  • Receiving orders

  • Assisting General Manager with stocking weekly deliveries

  • Coordinate with and assist fellow team members to meet guests’ needs and support the store

  • Fill-in for fellow employees when needed to ensure guest service standards of efficient operations

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen team members.

  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds

  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods

  • This position requires constant motion. There is always something to do.

  • Must be 18 years old

Pay Range: Cashier pay range is $11.00-$13.00 depending on experience.
